The Technische Universität Dresden, chair of ergonomics, works on the development of ERGOTYPING® Tools since 2008. In this context, a first ERGOTYPING® tool "Visibility" (visual assessment and visual requirements for optical displays) was formed as a “3ds Max” plugin for the digital human model CharAT Ergonomics. In research cooperation between the TU Dresden, chair of ergonomics, and VHE GmbH Stuttgart exist a constant and professional integration of this tool into CharAT Ergonomics and a joint development of additional ERGOTYPING® tools (body force evaluation, body posture evaluation for RULA and OWAS) since 2010.
